Suspense not over for Foley

RSS

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – Less than 24 hours after his most high-profile student went mano a mano with Graeme McDowell three time zones away, Sean Foley was back in his office early Monday as the final round of PGA Tour Q-School got underway in central Florida.

Asked if he was more nervous on Sunday, when Tiger Woods took a four-stroke lead into the final round of the Chevron World Challenge before fading and losing a playoff to McDowell, or Monday watching Chris Baryla grind for a Tour card.

“I disattach,” Foley said at Orange Country National where Baryla had rallied with three consecutive birdies to move inside the top 25 through 12 holes. “I do what I can and then I watch.”
