Tiger's eye-popping stats through 36 at Firestone

AKRON, Ohio – The main numbers for Tiger Woods through two rounds at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational aren’t just impressive. They’re eye-popping.

He’s needed just 127 strokes in 36 holes. He leads by seven. He’s carded an eagle and 13 birdies.

Not surprisingly considering the scores, some of his other numbers are equally impressive – and especially their ranking against the field.

Through two rounds, Woods is second in driving distance (329 yards), T-6 in driving accuracy (68 percent), tied for first in greens in regulation (81 percent) and T-3 in total putts (26 per round).

No wonder he leads by seven.
