World No. 1 Yani Tseng doesn’t have to look far for some positive vibes in a bid to find her form in Friday’s start of the LPGA KEB-HanaBank Championship in South Korea.

Tseng is in a good place to conjure old magic.

She’s defending champ at Sky 72 Golf Club this week, and she will be the defending champ again next week when she returns to her homeland for the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship.

Tseng’s mother and sister are in Seoul supporting her. She will be surrounded by adoring fans next week in Taiwan.

Her coach, Gary Gilchrist, made a trip to Malaysia last week to work with her. She said it was a productive time together.

“I feel like I'm ready for my game,” Tseng said in a pre-tournament news conference. “I was struggling a little last week, but I think I'm kind of back to how I played before. I love this golf course, and I always play good here, so very looking forward to Friday.”

Tseng won three times at year’s start, but she’s looking for her first win since the Kia Classic seven months ago. She’s looking for her first top-10 finish in six months.
