The wind is expected to gust at Colonial on Friday, making Hogan’s Alley less fun.

@BobEstesPGA I love playing Colonial CC, but if the wind is gusting again tmrw at 25-30 mph...

Luke Donald’s wife doesn’t have to worry about ugly conditions on the golf course today.

@DianeDonald No golf watching for me today. Off to Legoland with my munchkins. Wish me luck!!

Ian Poulter seems to favor the fans in his home country of England over PGA Tour fans in the States.

@ianjamespoulter Worst traffic I have ever seen around Wentworth, means only 1 thing huge crowds, best golfing gallery in the world. No get in the hole crap

Before it was GO TIME for Rickie Fowler at Colonial, there had to be time for the sun to rise.

@RickieFowlerPGA Might be a little tough to play the first hole right now #kindadark http://t.co/KSMIhvTm

Finally, in light of several recent rules problems, including a freak penalty assessed against Graeme McDowell on Thursday, Webb Simpson believes some rules in golf are a tad ridiculous.

@webbsimpson1 Some rules handicap more than help, and rules committees should listen more to players i.e. the people who play every week for a living

Simpson would have enjoyed one more win last year had the Rules of Golf not hurt him in New Orleans.
