Two-time U.S. Women's Amateur champion turning professional

RSS

Danielle Kang is turning pro after winning her second consecutive U.S. Women’s Amateur title earlier this month. She will make her professional debut at next week’s Walmart NW Arkansas Championship on the LPGA.

“My Pro Debut coming up soon at Walmart Championship next week!!,” Kang tweeted.

Kang, who was declared academically ineligible to compete at Pepperdine University after the spring semester of her sophomore year, was low amateur at the Ricoh Women’s British Open earlier this season before her successful defense at Rhode Island Country Club. She has made the cut in four LPGA majors as an amateur.
