With her top-ranked boyfriend set to tee off in the season's third major Thursday, skier Lindsay Vonn made clear in a recent article her future plans for marriage – or lack thereof.
'No, thanks!' the 28-year-old divorcee exclaimed in a piece published Wednesday by Vogue Magazine when asked if she would marry again. 'I am definitely not getting married. To anyone.'
Vonn has been dating world No. 1 Tiger Woods for several months, the pair having announced their courtship this past March. As part of the article, she recounted the first time she met Woods at a charity event in 2012.
'We immediately clicked, you know? It was just one of those things,' said Vonn. 'We talked a lot, corresponded a lot, and he was a good friend who was always there. And then it became more.'
'It's amazing,' she added. 'Life changes very quickly, in a very positive way, if you let it.'
Since announcing their relationship to the public, Woods and Vonn have been seen together at multiple golf tournaments, including the Masters in April and this week at the Open Championship at Muirfield. Vonn noted that despite the constant media scrutiny under which the pair live their lives, they remain focused on a common goal.
'It all comes back to being happy,' she explained. 'It doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks; do what you love to do and be happy, and that's it.'
