DUBLIN, Ohio – The weather-warning horn blew, again, just before 6 p.m. (ET) at Muirfield Village, sending the day’s final groups scurrying for shelter for about 30 minutes at an event with more starts and stops than Thursday’s NBA Finals opener.
Officials plan to play threesomes and off both the first and 10th tees on Saturday in an attempt to avoid even more storms heading for central Ohio. But we’ve learned it’s not always rainy in these parts.
“If you don’t like the weather, wait a few weeks. It gets a lot better,” said John Cooper, the former head coach at Ohio State and a Columbus, Ohio, resident.
