AUGUSTA, Ga. – It’s been a strange beginning for Tiger Woods at the Masters, as he’s in search of his fifth green jacket.
Woods snap-hooked drives on Nos. 1 and 2 but still scrambled to make par on both. On the par-5 second hole he had to take an unplayable lie but was able to hit his third shot short of the green, then get up and down.
Feeling disgusted with his driver Woods hit iron off the third tee, iron onto the green then made birdie from 10 feet. He made par on the par-3 fourth hole to stand at 1 under.
