Two major champions and a top-five player have made their decision on a United States home base.
Charl Schwartzel, Louis Oosthuizen and Lee Westwood have purchased homes at Old Palm in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and will utilize the 7,400-yard Raymond Floyd-designed course. Last year’s Open Championship winner Darren Clarke is also a member of the club.
It should come as little surprise that the trio of International Sports Management clients have agreed to set up shop near its U.S. office.
“Old Palm is an ideal living situation for me and my family, and the convenient location and weather are optimal for my PGA Tour schedule,” Lee Westwood said via press release. “The phenomenal practice facilities coupled with the outstanding amenities and atmosphere make Old Palm the perfect home for us in the States.”
Each of the three players owned dual membership on the PGA and European tours this year, and all are expected to similarly do so next season, as well.
