Will WGC players watch Tigers news conference

MARANA, Ariz. – As second-round play finishes at Dove Mountain the No. 1 topic of interest is whether the rank-and-file plan to watch Tiger Woods’ news conference on Friday, which will be his first public comments since his November car accident.

Most say they are more concerned with winning a World Golf Championship, but at least one player offered an obvious opinion: “Are we going to delay tee times?” laughed Paul Casey following his 5-and-4 dismantling of Mike Weir. “I might happen to have the TV on.”
