There were fireworks Thursday at the Open Championship after hotshot Rory McIlroy tore it up at St. Andrews with an historic 63. Excitement and anticipation were building in the air and I couldn't wait to see what was next. Friday's winds blew in a new leader – one without the hype and one that many thought wouldn't be around another day.
Louis Oosthuizen proved the naysayers wrong and extended his lead, sleeping with a four-shot lead to enter Championship Sunday. And so far no one has been able to get anything going today to really apply the pressure.
Are we watching the most anticlimactic Open in it's 150-year history? Will Louis Oosthuizen cruise to victory? Where's the drama? Certainly something has to be in store for the back nine...this is the Open Championship at St. Andrews!
