The door to the U.S. Women’s Open isn’t completely shut on Michelle Wie and Natalie Gulbis.
There are two paths left to the national championship at Saucon Valley Country Club’s Old Course in Bethlehem, Pa., July 9-12. Any player who’s not already exempt can earn a spot by winning this weekend’s Wegmans LPGA, or by winning next week’s Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic.
Wie’s in the hunt starting the weekend at Wegmans, four shots off the lead beginning the third round. Gulbis started the third round 10 shots back. They’re both in the Jamie Farr field next weekend.
