ORLANDO, Fla. – Tiger Woods is five shots off the lead heading into the weekend of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Not exactly a position he's use to here at Bay Hill, but in this case, it's not a bad as it may seem.
Spencer Levin leads the charge at 8-under-par 136 and Woods, following rounds of 73-68, is at 141. Woods second-round 68 had five birdies and a bogey and had him in a sixth-place tie when he finished just before the afternoon wave got started.
'Unfortunately I left a lot of putts dead center short,' he said. 'There were about five putts that were dead center. It could have been a pretty special round.'
