Woods, who has won the Memorial five times, will tee off on Thursday at 1:16 p.m. ET from the first tee and at 8:26 a.m. off No. 10 for Round 2 with Couples, who will captain the U.S. Presidents Cup team at Muirfield Village later this year, and Keegan Bradley.
Three spots back on the tee sheet will be Chinese amateur Guan Tianlang, who is 2-for-3 in cuts made on the PGA Tour. Tianlang will be paired with Justin Bolli and fellow amateur Peter Williamson.
World No. 2 Rory McIlroy is on the other side of the draw from Woods, teeing off on Day 1 at 8:26 a.m. from the 10th tee and 1:16 p.m. from the first on Friday. The Ulsterman will play with Bubba Watson and 2010 Memorial champion Justin Rose.
