Woods weekend of hors doeuvres

When Tiger Woods signed for his 63 Friday at the Buick Open, his fans must have been licking their chops.

The leaders look like they will make for nice weekend snacks for their favorite player to devour.

Other than Woods, there wasn’t a player in the top 100 in the world rankings within the top 24 names on the leaderboard.

Because Woods typically plays the toughest events, it’s hard to remember him trying to beat a weaker field.

Here are the leaders, their 36-hole scores and their world rankings (in parenthesis) as this is being written:

Buick Open

Michael Letzig -12 (200th)

Vaughn Taylor -11 (319th)
