LEMONT, Ill. – Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will be paired together Sunday for the final round of the BMW Championship.
They’re scheduled to go off at 10:56 a.m. local time at Cog Hill. They're both tied for 22nd at even-par 213.
It will mark the first time they’ve played together since the final round of the WGC-HSBC Champions in Shanghai 10 months ago. Mickelson shot 69 that day and won the event. Woods shot 72. The last time they played together in a PGA Tour event was the last round of the Masters in ’09. Mickelson shot 67 to Woods’ 68.
Woods and Mickelson have been paired together 24 times in PGA Tour events. Woods is 11-9-4 in those head-to-head pairings but Woods has gotten the best of Mickelson just once in their last six PGA Tour pairings.
