Though you might never be able to crowd around the kitchen table at Jack Nicklaus’ house, now you can at least pretend.
Nicklaus and his wife, Barbara, have co-authored a cookbook, “Well Done! Life, Love & Food”, a collection of more than 300 recipes and family anecdotes.
“We don’t eat very fancy,” Nicklaus told the Palm Beach Post. “We eat fish, steak, chicken. Just simple.”
Of his wife of 55 years, who last year earned the USGA’s Bob Jones Award for her many charitable works, Nicklaus said: “She’s good at just about everything,” adding that the outdoor grill is his only domain.
“Why would I learn to cook when I have someone who does it so well?”
We already knew the Golden Bear loves ice cream – his premium line hit grocery stores last spring – so it’s nice to see him expanding his culinary horizons.
This cookbook costs $39.99, and sales (which can be purchased here) will benefit the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation.
