Revisiting Jungle Bird's 112th U.S. Open appearance

U.S. Open defending champ Webb Simpson hopes he's in that winner's circle for the second year in a row come Sunday. But if he is, he's not expecting to share the spotlight this time.

'I don't think we'll be seeing (Jungle Bird) this week,' Simpson said in his news conference Tuesday at Merion.

Not that he would mind a repeat performance – both on the course and at the trophy ceremony.

'People thought that that was, it took away from the ceremony, but I thought it added to it,' Simpson said. 'Usually that's the first question, how did you play, how did you get up and down 18? Tell me about the Bird Man.'

Just in case there are no Jungle Bird (his real name is Andrew Dudley) sightings at the 113th U.S. Open, here's the clip from last year's ceremony at The Olympic Club. Because let's be honest ... it never gets old.
