Spieth tours NYC, visits 'Tonight Show' ahead of playoffs


Jordan Spieth, the reigning FedEx Cup champion, flew to New York to kickoff the playoffs, which begin this Thursday at Bethpage Black. He made stops to light up the Empire State Building, sign autographs, chat with Jimmy Fallon, play marshmallow golf on "The Tonight Show" and show off his trophy one last time. #Casual

While at 30 Rock, one picture caught Spieth's eye. A sketch featuring Will Ferrell, Fallon and Michelle Obama.

He also shared a couple of stories with Fallon, one about Billy Murray and another about his trusty putter.

Spieth claimed the $10 million bonus last year as cup champ. He enters these playoffs in fifth place.

The Barclays is the first of four playoff events, which also includes the Deutsche Bank Championship, BMW Championship and Tour Championship.
