Rickie Fowler took home last year's Players Championship thanks in large part to his play at TPC Sawgrass' famed 17th hole. Fowler birdied the island-green par 3 three times on Sunday, once in regulation and twice in a playoff, closing out Kevin Kisner on that green.
The daunting hole is apparently so easy for Fowler now that he's taken to playing it cross-handed, as you can see in this video from the PGA Tour of Fowler at Players Media Day:
He also played it lefty, blindfolded, from the hospitality tent and from the 18th tee:
No one has ever successfully defended the Players title, so if it comes down to it, Rickie might want to go back to his normal grip. That said, that's a pretty sweet swing from a guy going left hand low.[h/t Golf Digest]
