It looks like everyone who is watching the show this year is enjoying it. Our ratings are going up every week. This year’s Haney Project with Rush Limbaugh has really been great. I have a student that is really turning into a great student in Rush and we have been filming from some of the most beautiful courses in the world.
Show Five is from the Discovery Land Companies’ Baker’s Bay in the Bahamas. What a beautiful place Baker’s Bay is. It is a brand-new Tom Fazio golf course and it is something else. We even had Tom Fazio on the show, which was great. Tom is a good friend of mine and has played a lot of golf with Rush as well. It was great to get Tom’s feedback on what he thought of the way that Rush is progressing.
I have to admit that I was a little worried when the wind was blowing about 25mph at Baker’s Bay. Playing in windy conditions certainly doesn’t make it easy on someone who is undergoing a swing change but Rush did great. Actually, Rush shocked me with how well he did. We worked on hitting some low punch shots that Rush needs to play in the wind and he really picked it up fast. He actually made some swings that made him look like a single digit handicap on the range. I was really proud of him.
In addition to Tom Fazio we had some other special guests on the show: Pat Perez from the PGA TOUR and baseball great, Alex Rodriguez . This show is probably the best one yet. I say that every week I think, but it does just keep getting better and better. Pat Perez and Rush played a little 3-hole match and Rush did pretty darn good; he is improving for sure.
Thanks again for watching.
All the best,
