Were up in a player meeting in Boston and I was at a table with David Toms, with Zach Johnson, Hunter Mahan ' I think that was all of them. So, he went around and Zach, great job on winning the Masters, green jacket, thats fantastic, thats awesome. David, another solid season ' you are another steady, steady player. Hunter, you really came along lately. This is a fantastic, young guy. Charles, you need a lesson. I said, My pro-am time is 7 a.m. tomorrow. He didnt show up' -- Charles Howell III, on being humbled by U.S. captain Jack Nicklaus.
I think this year, we are going to put face paint and ribbons in our hair ' a little hard for some of us who are balding -- Tiger Woods, on whether the Americans can match Solheim Cup enthusiasm.
We do well together because we dont like each other, so we talk on the first hole and we talk on the 18th green and we see what happens in-between -- Howell again, on playing with Woods.
Gary and I, we got some of our players to skip some of those tournaments so they would be ready ' couldnt resist that. Im sorry -- Jack Nicklaus, on players skipping FedExCup events prior to the Presidents Cup.
Im taking Ernie tubing tomorrow afternoon -- Nicklaus again, on dealing with the return of Ernie Els after missing the last Presidents Cup with a knee injury.
