Five Futures Grads Get LPGA Cards


Five players have qualified as exempt members of the LPGA Tour for the 2004 season by finishing in the top five of the Futures Tour season-ending money list.
Graduates include Stacy Prammmandasudh of Enid, Okla.; Soo Young Moon of Keunsam, South Korea; Candy Hannemann of Rio de Janiero, Brazil; Ju Kim of Seoul, South Korea; and Reilly Rankin of Hilton Head Island, S.C.
This is the fifth year in the 23-year of the Futures Tour that players have received automatic exemptions into the LPGA Tour, but the first year that five were presented. For the previous four years, only three cards were awarded.
Also receiving automatic entry into the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament Oct. 21-24 were players six through 10: Lisa Hall of Stoke-on-Trent, England; Erica Wicoff of Hartford City, Ind.; Catherine Cartwright of Bonita Springs, Fla.; Katherine Hull of Queensland, Australia; and Isabelle Beisiegel of Norman, Okla.
