LPGA and Schnapps to Partner in 2003

LPGA logo for LeaderboardsDAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- DeKuyper Peachtree Schnapps, part of the Jim Beam Brands Co. portfolio, has been named the official spirit of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and will have a significant presence at several LPGA Tour events in 2003.
 
As part of the agreement, DeKuyper Peachtree Schnapps will participate in a comprehensive 10-tournament program that includes several consumer promotions. The partnership marks the first time a spirit has been an official sponsor of the LPGA.

DeKuyper Peachtree Schnapps 10- tournament program will offer the LPGA fans the opportunity to visit a public hospitality area named The Peachtree Pavilion at each event. This fully branded environment will provide LPGA fans with the opportunity to purchase and sample drinks, where legal, made with DeKuyper Peachtree Schnapps and other Jim Beam Brands Products.
 
The 10 tournaments that are expected to feature The Peachtree Pavilion are: The Office Depot Championship Hosted by Amy Alcott, April 4-6; LPGA Takefuji Classic, April 17-19; Kellogg- Keebler Classic, May 30-June 1; Giant Eagle LPGA Classic, June 13-15; Wegmans Rochester LPGA, June 19-22; ShopRite LPGA Classic, June 27-29; Wachovia LPGA Classic hosted by Betsy King, Aug. 21-24; Safeway Classic, Sept. 26-28; Longs Drugs Challenge, Oct. 2-5; and the ADT Championship, Nov. 20-23.
