Winds of Change at Trump International

The winds have changed and so has the leader of the Tyco/ADT Championship. After two days of northwesterly winds reaching 20 miles per hour, the winds have shifted to a northeasterly direction.
The wind was not the only thing to shift Saturday morning. After leading the season-ending championship for two days, Karrie Webb has temporarily given up that roll to her fiercest competitor, Annika Sorenstam.
Webb suffered three bogeys in a row on the front nine in the third round.
Sorenstam currently holds sole possession of the lead at 4-under-par through the 12th. Webb is one shot and one hole behind at 3-under-par.
As if predicting the difficulty she would face Saturday, Webb said in an interview Friday, I actually think if the wind blows out of the northeast all this weekend, which theyre calling for, the front nine plays more difficult.
If the wind is out of the northeast or the east, the two par-3s on the front nine are going to be 3-irons to the back pins. You know, they're going to be pretty tough. With the wind helping us the last couple of days, its made those holes play just a little bit easier.
