Canadian Tour Heads to Quebec


Following an off-week, the Canadian Tour resumes its summer schedule in Mirabel, Quebec on Thursday when the TELUS Open gets underway.

The Canadian Tour and Quebec PGA team up to co-sanction this unique event, which will feature 90 Tour players, 70 Quebec PGA professionals and eight others who qualified Monday.
Taking on the sparkling new les Quatre Domaines course on the outskirts of Montreal, the 168 hopefuls will contest for a $200,000 purse.
Derek Gilchrist (Sacramento, CA) is coming off his first Tour victory two weeks ago in Sudbury, ON, when he outlasted Rich Massey of Harrington Park, NJ on the second playoff hole.
