Canadian Tour versus Quebec PGA


Its the Canadian Tour taking on the Quebec PGA as the Casino de Charlevoix Cup gets underway Thursday.
Played at the Manoir Richelieu Golf Club in this picturesque village east of Quebec City, the Charlevoix Cup will feature 16 two-man teams from each organization competing for a total purse of $105,000 in match-play format.
Competitors will stay on their own side of the draw through Sundays final, when the Canadian Tour and QPGA champion meet for the $20,000 first prize.
A year ago, Carl Desjardins and Serge Thivierge (QPGA) defeated Wes Martin and Dave Pashko (Canadian Tour) 3-and-2 in the final match.
