SUTTON COLDFIELD, England -- Colin Montgomerie was the leading points earner in the 34th Ryder Cup Matches. He finished the three-day competition with four wins and a half in five matches, for a total of 4 points.
 
Larry Nelson, in 1979, is the only player on either side to go 5-0-0 in a single competition.
 
Rookie David Toms led the way for the Americans. He was 3-1-1, for 3 points. World No. 1 Tiger Woods finished 2-2-1.
 
All 24 players won at least a half-point. Bernhard Langer was the only player besides Montgomerie to go undefeated. The 10-time Ryder Cupper finished 3-0-1.
