Fullman is a Miracle Child for the 2012 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic. On September 14, 2010, he was lifting weights in the gym when he passed out and slipped into a coma for 17 days and remained in the hospital for 56 days. After he returned home from the hospital, he saw his golf clubs and begged his Dad for four days to return to the course. When he returned, he had to have his Dad hold him up while he hit shots that went no further than 25 yards. But he slowly progressed to the point where he could hit full shots again but it all started with hitting short chip shots.

He is playing in the Pro-Am this week and the entire experience is surreal. He is not at all concerned with how he plays because he is just happy to be a part of this tournament and he cannot thank Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals enough for everything that they have done to help him. While he does not dwell on his experience all day long, he does lay in bed at night and realize how lucky he is and how fortunate he is to have such wonderful friends and wonderful therapists. The community support has been unbelievable. When asked who he wanted to play in the Pro-Am with, Fullman said that he would love to be teamed with Boo Weekley, Davis Love III, or Stewart Cink.
