34-year-old Nathan Smith became the first-ever 4-time champion of the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship with a 1UP win over Garrett Rank. He is just the 15th player in USGA history to win the same championship at least 4 times.
- Rare Double
Ellen Port won 5 consecutive holes en route to a 4 and 3 victory over Jane Fitzgerald to win the USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship. She joins Carol Semple Thompson as the only players to win the Women's Mid-Amateur and Women's Senior Amateur.
