- Swede Succeeds
Carl Pettersson opened the RBC Heritage final round with a one-shot lead, but stretched it out to five for his first PGA TOUR win since 2010. It's Pettersson's 5th career title which ties him with Jesper Parnevik for most by a player from Sweden.
- New Number One
Rory McIlroy is back in the top spot in the Official World Golf Ranking. Luke Donald dropped to 2nd with a tie for 37th at Harbour Town. He needed to finish 8th or better to stay World #1.

Michael Allen strung together rounds of 66-67-68 to win the Encompass Insurance Pro-Am of Tampa Bay by three shots over Kenny Perry. It's his 2nd career Champions Tour win, ending a drought dating back to the 2009 Senior PGA Championship.
