Paula Creamer - April 7, 2012

9-time LPGA Tour winner Paula Creamer is in Augusta, Georgia this week for the 76th Masters Tournament. When she has a bad round in a tournament, she said that she doesn’t like to dwell on it but she tries to learn as many lessons as she can from that bad round so she can return to the course the next day and play better.

You cannot win a tournament on Thursday but you have to put yourself in position to win on Sunday. Every golfer knows that and every golfer wants to be in that position because it is exciting and it is ultimately about winning.

She has been to The Masters before and has played Augusta National in the past. She loves seeing so many people who are not playing golf wear golf shoes and everything about the experience at Augusta National during Masters Week is unbelievable.

It is easy for her and fun for her to watch how other players react to good and bad shots when she watches them at The Masters or at any tournament. Today, she plans to go out and watch how the players warm up.

When it comes to Masters traditions, she enjoys the pimento and egg salad sandwiches but she also likes the fact that you are not allowed to have a cell phone on the course which creates an experience where you are focused just on the golf and the beautiful surroundings.

She is picking Lee Westwood to win The Masters this weekend as he has been playing very well recently and has a lot of great finishes in Major Championships and while there are a lot of great players in contention, her pick is Westwood.
