Rory McIlroy - October 19, 2011

He gave himself a lot of chances at birdies on the front nine on Tuesday but could not convert a lot of them although he putted better on the back nine. The greens at Port Royal are very grainy and he had a tough time getting used to them at first. He was five back of Keegan Bradley with five holes to play in the first round and ended the round tied with Keegan at 4 under par. The weather is going to change a bit on Wednesday so he is very happy that he will begin the final round tied for the lead. He thinks Keegan will play very well in the final round just like he did in the first round so in order to win, he will have to give it his best.
