TODAY'S TOPICS
- Frantic Friday: A frantic Friday at the U.S. Women's Open with players finishing the first round and starting the second. I.K. Kim surged into the lead late...she's 4 under thru 14 holes in her second round.
- Long Saturday: The USGA expects lots of golf to be played Saturday at the Broadmoor. The second round resumes at 9 a.m. ET. Sixty-six players have not yet started their second round.
- Reavie Rolls: Chez Reavie carded an eagle and nine birdies en route to a second-round 62 at the John Deere Classic. He leads by two over Steve Stricker and Steve Marino.
- Course Closed: Heavy rains force the European Tour to close Castle Stuart Golf Links to the public. Play will not resume until at least 2 p.m. ... which is 9 a.m. ET. You'll get complete coverage at 8:15 a.m. ET.
