- Race to Dubai
Rory McIlroy and Luke Donald will play side-by-side in the Dubai World Championship. McIlroy needs a win and help from Donald to win the Race to Dubai. Coverage starts Thursday at 3am - ONLY on Golf Channel.
- Shark Shootout
The first round of the Franklin Templeton Shootout starts Friday. Star pairings include Rickie Fowler with Camilo Villegas, rookie champions Keegan Bradley with Brendan Steele and host Greg Norman with Scott McCarron.
- Crane Coping
McGladrey Classic champion Ben Crane is coping with some pain. He has a torn labrum in his left hip. He said on twitter he would try to put off surgery until September -- after the 2012 PGA TOUR season.
- Challenge Changes
The Humana Challenge takes over the Bob Hope Classic in 2012. The tournament will be reduced from 5 to 4 rounds and played on 3 courses instead of 4. Sunday's final round will still be pros only.
