- Shootout Start
The Franklin Templeton Shootout starts at 9:55 this morning with the team of Jason Dufner and Sean O'Hair grouped with Chad Campbell and Chris DiMarco to start the tournament.
- Weir Recovering
Mike Weir says he is recovering from surgery on a tendon in his right elbow. He says he will take up European Tour membership in 2012 since the tour exempts major champions for 12 years.

Lorena Ochoa gave birth to her first child Thursday -- a boy named Pedro. He weighs 6 pounds, 3 ounces.
