Tiger Woods opened his 2012 PGA TOUR season with 2 straight birdies in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. He shot a 1st round 4-under 68 at Spyglass Hill and is tied for 15th place.

Charlie Wi had a chance at 59 at Monterey Peninsula CC. He settled for a tournament course record 9-under 61. Wi is tied with Dustin Johnson and Danny Lee who both played Pebble Beach in the first round.
