TODAY'S TOPICS
- Shell Shocked
Strong thunderstorms forced tournament officials at the Shell Houston Open to suspend the first round with just 51 players able to finish. Angel Cabrera and Carl Pettersson are tied for the lead at -7. The 1st round resumes this morning at 8:30 Eastern.
- Yang's Gang
Seeking her first LPGA Tour win, Amy Yang is -6 and leads the Kraft Nabisco Championship by a single shot over Lindsay Wright. World #1 Yani Tseng is 2 shots back at -4.
- Stars Struggle
Some of the biggest stars on the LPGA Tour struggled to get off to a hot start at Mission Hills. 17-year-old Lexi Thompson is Even Par and Michelle Wie is +1 after carding just one birdie and two bogeys.
- Lawrie Goes Low
Another Lawrie is going low on the European Tour. Not Paul, but it's Peter Lawrie who fired a course record 64 in the first round to set the pace in the Sicilian Open.
