Martin Kaymer has gotten off to a great start this week as he shot a Friday 66 to put himself in contention for the weekend. Kaymer drove the ball very well today and his game overall was much improved from Thursday and from all of last week. This course demands good driving and if Kaymer can keep up his strong play he should remain in contention and the timing could not be better.
Joel Sjoholm has had some good rounds this year but he played great on Thursday. He is an explosive player and tends to get on a roll when he is playing well. Scoring conditions are perfect today and he expects Sjoholm to have a good chance to build on his lead.
The conditions are supposed to be nice this weekend but driving is very important on this golf course. If you hit it in the fairway and in the right places, you will have a chance to make birdies. If you are in the rough or in the wrong part of the fairway, it will be very difficult to perform well.
