Kyle Stanley came back from blowing the lead at Torrey Pines last week -- and from 8 shots on Sunday to win the Waste Management Phoenix Open for his first PGA TOUR victory.
- Levin Lost It
Spencer Levin lost a 6-shot lead thru 54 with a final round 4-over 75 at TPC Scottsdale. He carded 4 bogeys and a double at 15 when he hit his 3rd shot into the water.
- Paul Stands Tall
Paul Lawrie shot a final round 65 to win the CommercialBank Qatar Masters by 4 shots over Jason Day and Peter Hanson. John Daly finished alone in 4th.
- USGA President
The USGA elected Glen Nager as its 62nd President. Nager leads a staff of nearly 300 professionals and more than a thousand volunteers. He is originally from Houston, Texas.
