Masters Champion Bubba Watson will defend his title next week in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans but has decided to withdraw from the Wells Fargo Championship to rest and spend time with his family.
- Seniors at Scioto
Bobby Jones won a U.S. Open there. Jack Nicklaus learned the game there. In 2016, Major Championship golf returns to Scioto Country Club in Ohio. It will host the 2016 U.S. Senior Open. Nicklaus will be the tournament's honorary chairman.
- Stockton's Service
The PGA of America is giving its 2012 PGA Distinguished Service Award to 2-time PGA Champion Dave Stockton. Stockton will receive the Association's highest annual honor during the 94th PGA Championship. And we will have the chance to chat with Dave Stockton tomorrow on Morning Drive.
