-Driving: It’s important to drive the ball both straight and long at TPC Summerlin. The past 3 winners have finished Top 10 in the field in Total Driving. It consistently ranks as one of the longest driving courses on the PGA TOUR, last year ranking 3^rd easiest with an average of 306.0 yards.

-Bunker Play: TPC Summerlin may have the toughest bunkers to play from on the PGA TOUR. Last season it ranked the toughest in Proximity to Hole from Sand at 12’0”. It has ranked in the Top 4 toughest each of the past 6 seasons.

-Birdies: You have to make a lot of birdies to win at TPC Summerlin. It has ranked 1^st or 2^nd in Total Birdies each of the 4 years since becoming the tournament’s exclusive course. Last year Kevin Na finished 1^st in Birdie Average at 6.75 per round, finishing 23-under.
