Four LPGA pros take home cars at Titleholders


NAPLES, Fla. – Four LPGA pros won cars before the first shot was struck at the CME Group Titleholders.

Cristie Kerr, Stacy Lewis, Beatriz Recari and Nicole Smith each took home a 2014 Kia Cadenza sedan Wednesday night as winners of Kia Performance Awards.

Kerr won Kia’s Community Assist award, which recognizes exceptional contributions to charity or community organizations. Kerr’s Birdies for Breast Cancer Classic has raised close to $3 million over nine years and helped fund creation of the Cristie Kerr Women’s Health Center at the Jersey City Medical Center.

Lewis won the Drive to the Top award for most top-10 finishes on tour (18).

Recari won Most Compelling Performance for her effort defeating Paula Creamer down the stretch to win the Marathon Classic. The award was decided by a fan vote.

Smith won the Power Drive award for leading the tour in driving distance (274.9 yards).
