SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – Would Tiger Woods’ selection to the Ryder Cup team cause problems with the wives of American players because of his infidelity?
U.S. Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin was asked that Wednesday in a news conference.
“I think it’s a non-issue, really,” Pavin said. “I think it has nothing to do with the Ryder Cup at all.”
Pavin was asked if he would address the matter with the team to make sure it’s not an issue.
“No, I don’t think anything needs to be done,” Pavin said. “I think whoever is on the team is going to be welcomed, and we are going to be a team unit.”
