AUGUSTA, Ga. – On Monday, during his mass meet-and-greet with the press, Tiger Woods said he planned to show the game more respect, which meant controlling his anger and his celebrations. On Thursday we got our first look at the new Tiger.
After firing his second shot at the par-5 13th hole to 10 feet Woods ran his first by and coolly rolled in his birdie attempt to move to 3 under and two shots behind the leaders. As he made his way to the 14th hole Woods joked and smiled with playing partner K.J. Choi.
So far, so good.
