DUBLIN, Ohio – The gathered scribes enjoyed a collective chuckle on Wednesday when Tiger Woods made the following assessment of his swing: “I don't have the (swing) speed (he had when he was younger). I'm getting older.”
At 34 years old Woods is hardly over the hill, but his point was proven on Saturday at the weather-plagued Memorial Tournament. On the par-4 third hole Woods hit a fairway wood 243 yards. Playing partner Dustin Johnson hit 3-iron 267 yards.
