SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – As Tiger Woods readied for his opening round at the PGA Championship on Thursday his caddie Steve Williams continued the practice of placing a club against the world No. 1’s right temple in an attempt to keep him from swaying during the swing.
It’s worth noting that Sean Foley, the swing coach who Woods is rumored to be working with, was not on the practice tee, but that is hardly a surprise.
On Tuesday Woods said it was a “possibility” he and Foley would work together, but most agree few players know as much about the swing as Woods.
“He would make a great teacher. He really knows the swing,” said one Tour swing coach.
