DUBLIN, Ohio – Neither a three-hour delay, nor the threat of even more poor weather, nor a 10-stroke deficit could keep the crowds away from Muirfield Village and the delayed start of Tiger Woods' third round.
Woods teed off at 12:15 p.m. (ET) with galleries lined down both sides of the first fairway. Although the group is nearly an hour and a half ahead of leader Rickie Fowler it drew plenty attention as the world No. 1 went out with the explosive duo of Dustin Johnson and Ricky Barnes.
The start was anticlimactic, however, as all three players hit fairway wood on the first tee.
