PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Tiger Woods’ schedule is always a hot topic but heading into next month’s U.S. Open the speculation has reached an all-time high.
Woods has already committed to play the Open and AT&T National in July, but still has not said if he will play the Memorial, which he normally plays, or any of the upcoming Texas swing events.
“I still need some more (competition). There is no doubt I need more, and I certainly will get it,” Woods said without elaborating any further.
Best guess? Jack Nicklaus should save a spot in his Wednesday four-ball at Muirfield Village for the world No. 1.
