Annika Remains No1 Lincicome Vaults 37 Spots

Despite being eliminated in the quarterfinals of last week's HSBC Women's World Match Play Championship, Annika Sorenstam continued her stranglehold as the world's top-ranked golfer.
The top six players remained unchanged from a week ago with Michelle Wie holding on to second, followed by Lorena Ochoa, Karrie Webb, Paula Creamer and Cristie Kerr. The seventh and eighth positions were reversed from a week ago with Juli Inkster jumping one spot to seventh and Yuri Fudoh dropping to eighth. Jeong Jang held on to the ninth spot while Ai Miyazato stayed at No. 10.
Inkster, who defeated Sorenstam and Creamer on her way to the Match Play Championship finals, was topped by Brittany Lincicome, 3 and 2, on Sunday to capture her first LPGA Tour victory. Lincicome was the big mover of the week, jumping 37 spots from 58th to No. 21.
Se Ri Pak, who lost to Wie, 2 and 1, in the third round of the Match Play Championships, traded positions with Mi Hyun Kim to move to No. 14.
